I kinda figured what with the eatin’ holidays coming up, and with the cookbook hysteria that’s been going on (oh wait, that was just going on in my head) that I should give it up in the cookbook dept.

As you may or may not know, and may or may not care, and/or may or may not know that you care, I’ve been on an everything-must-go-! kick for quite a while.  Quite a while cause I had so much stuff that it took me a while to do away with it all, but also cause I really secretly kind of wanted to keep it all.  That’s where my friend scanning has come in.

I recently scanned some old cookbooks (one in particular from my childhood that – ok all I’m gonna say is Betty Crocker’s Cookie Book.  Now, I know you are all excited cause I can hear all of you scratching and whining at my window, but you’re gonna have to wait.  I promise I will post the ENTIRE cookbook before xmas – I mean who knows – I might even do it tomorrow, although that is pretty unlikely – so calm down and enjoy the fluffy dessert cookbook for now alright?!) that I plan on posting soon so you can get your holiday cooking on in olde timey style.

So what you will find here are some really groovy pictures of food, but if you make it all the way down to the bottom of the page without falling off your chair and writhing around on the floor indefinitely, you will find a link that will whisk you away to a place where you can download the entire cookbook and you will be able to have it for your very own.

Now, I do realize that all these recipes call for Whip ‘n Chill, and I don’t even know if they make it anymore.  I have seen that powdered whipping cream mix stuff that’s always near the jell-o, but I’m not sure if that’s Whip ‘n Chill.  But regardless, I do have a sneaking suspicion that whipped cream or Cool Whip would work here.  And if I’m wrong you can come over to my house and throw your failed fluffy dessert in my face.  In fact, you can do that anyway, anytime, with pretty much any foodstuff.

This pic down below is my personal favorite.  I really love the magical cubes of red stuff suspended in the fluffy whippedness and I especially love the magical crushed red gelatin around the rim of the fancy dessert glass.

So, if fluffy, whipped goodness is what you are after, then go HERE and it will be all yours…forever and ever and ever….
