So, today’s the big day of Dewey’s 24 Hour Read-a-Thon! I started (in bed) at the appointed start time – 5am for the west coast in the US – and I took a break to get up and make some coffee and do this post and I’ll be commencing reading shortly. I mentioned in a previous post that I would be reading a bunch of Alfred Hitchcock anthologies and some ghost story anthologies and maybe some vintage 80s horror and also possibly some trashy sexed up pulp. I have been reading Salem’s Lot for the last week and I have about 150 pages left on that (it’s an epub ebook though – and I dont think the actual page numbering matches up so I think I actually have less pages left to read) and after that I’m gonna start in on the anthologies! I’m excited. I’ll be either updating this post throughout the day or making new posts – I haven’t decided yet. And I’m not sure if I’m going to do any of the mini challenges on the Dewey site – but I’ll see how I feel about that after I’ve read for a few more hours!
